Green silicon carbide is characterized by its green color, a high percentage of SiC (more than 97%), special crystal structure, high hardness, strong cutting capacity, stable chemical property, and excellent thermal conductivity. Its microscopic shape is like hexagonal crystal. The silicon carbide has a Mohs hardness of 9.5, a microhardness of 3,280-3,400 kg/mm2, and a specific gravity of 3.20-3.25. Its hardness is between corundum and diamond, and its mechanical strength is higher than that of corundum, but its mechanical strength is higher than corundum. Green silicon carbide is made by smelting petroleum coke and high quality silica with salt (additive) in resistance furnace at high temperature.
It is mainly applied to: cut and grid cemented carbide, special coatings, solar silicon wafers, semiconductor silicon wafers, and quartz chips; polish crystal and ferrite; polish ceramics and special steel precisely; cut, grid and polish bonded and coated abrasives; grid non-metallic materials such as glass, stone, agate and high-end jewelry and jade; and manufacture high-duty refractory materials, engineering ceramics, heating elements and thermal elements.
Features:
1. With independently developed patent technology in removal of contamination and purification, the SiC powder boasts high purity and clean crystal surface which can help reduce the impact of various factors on stability and increase the redundancy of all technical parameters.
2. The independently developed and patented high-precision production line ensures neat and uniform particle morphology and consistent particle size in all batches.
